CPR Classes at Rescue Right

At Rescue Right, our mission is simple: CPR for everyone. We offer hands-on, easy-to-understand CPR classes designed for all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you’re a parent, child, teacher, healthcare professional, or community member, our courses empower you with the confidence and skills to save a life.

Please note that classes below are group classes. If you need a different date or time, are interested in a private class, or would like to host a group training event for your organization, school, workplace, or community group, we are happy to schedule that with you.

  • Intro to first aid and CPR

    Our Intro to CPR & First Aid class is a fun, interactive program designed to teach children essential life-saving skills in a safe and supportive environment. This class introduces kids to the basics of CPR and first aid using hands on activities, engaging class discussion, and real life scenarios.

    What Kids Will Learn:

    -How to recognize an emergency and stay calm -When and how to call 911 or get an adult -Basic CPR awareness and hands-on practice (age appropriate) -How to help someone who is choking -Simple first aid for multiple ailments (including allergic reactions, bites and stings, bleeding control etc.) -Personal safety and helping without putting themselves at risk

    Who is this class best suited for: This class is best suited for children 5-10 years old although older children can take it as well.

  • CPR (Adult)

    This Adult CPR & AED course is designed to teach individuals how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies involving adults. Participants will learn lifesaving skills through hands-on instruction in a supportive and easy-to-understand environment—no prior medical experience required.

    The course covers high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students will also learn how to respond to choking emergencies and how to act quickly and confidently until emergency medical services arrive.

    Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course, including a skills assessment and written exam.

  • CPR CLASS FOR CHILDREN

    This course is designed for children who wish to become CPR certified. Participants will learn how to effectively respond to choking and cardiac arrest emergencies involving adults, children, and infants through age-appropriate, hands-on instruction.

    This course is best suited for children ages 12 and older. Children ages 8 and up may be eligible for certification; however, due to the physical demands of high-quality chest compressions, younger participants may find certain skills more challenging. For this reason, age 12 is recommended for certification.

    Certification: Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required skills assessment and written exam will receive a CPR certification. Certification is issued through the American heart association.

  • BLS (HEALTHCARE EMPLOYEES)

    This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who are required to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in clinical and professional settings. The course follows current BLS guidelines and emphasizes high-quality CPR, effective team dynamics, and rapid response to cardiac and respiratory emergencies.

    Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course, including a skills assessment and written exam. Certification is issued through the American heart association.

  • HeartCode® BLS (blended learning for renewing healthcare workers)

    The HeartCode® BLS course from the American Heart Association (AHA) is a blended learning program designed for healthcare professionals and individuals who need Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This flexible course combines online learning completed on your own time and place followed by a scheduled in-person skills session, allowing students to learn at their own pace before demonstrating hands-on skills.

    Students will first complete online learning, then print and bring the certificate with them to complete their skills test.

    Note: I only offer this course to Health care workers who are RECERTIFYING their BLS. Heartcode online portion Certificate is REQUIRED before completing skills test. No skills test will be administered without verification of online certificate.

  • First aid (ADULTS)

    Our Adult First Aid Course is designed to give you the confidence and skills to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies. Whether at work, at home, or in public, this hands-on course prepares adults to recognize life-threatening situations and take immediate action until professional help arrives.

    Participants will learn how to manage common injuries and medical emergencies, including bleeding, burns, choking, allergic reactions, and sudden illnesses. The course combines clear instruction with practical, real-world scenarios to ensure you leave feeling prepared—not overwhelmed.

    Certification: Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required skills assessment will receive a First Aid certification. Certification is issued through the American heart association.

  • First aid Class for Children

    In this course children will learn to provide first aid in multiple situations, including bleeding management, bites and stings, choking, allergies and more. This class is close to 3 hours long and for that reason we suggest children who take the course will be old enough to complete the class.

    Certification: The class with completion and passing skills testing will result with certification in first aid. All certifications are given through the American Heart association.
